Fishin’ For $50K brings families together for the biggest event of the season. Spend the weekend on Big Bear Lake with your whole crew, fishing for a chance at $50K. Catch one of five winning trout—each tagged for a $10K grand prize. That’s a reel reason to cast a line! Weight class prizes are given to both adult and child age groups and raffle prizes include adult and child fishing equipment. It’s just another reason to invite the whole gang to enjoy this event weekend.

Weekend Schedule
- Online pre-registration ends at 5 PM on Thursday, June 5 or when entries are sold out.
- In-person registration: Friday, June 6, 2025 from 12 PM – 10 PM while supplies last. Big Bear Sporting Goods – 40544 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
- Pre-registered check-in: Friday, June 6 from 12 PM – 10 PM AND Saturday, June 7 from 5 AM-9AM. Saturday is Check-in Only!
- Official tournament fishing times: Saturday & Sunday, June 7 & 8 from 6 AM to 2 PM.
- Weigh station open 7 AM – 2:30 PM on both competition days. Located at Pine Knot Marina at 439 Pine Knot Ave

Entries Fees
- Adult entry fee $80 (16+), kids $30 (15-)
- Entries are limited to 700 registered anglers.
- An event t-shirt, and 1 raffle ticket for the general raffle.
- FF50K Hat add-on ($20) will be available for purchase at registration (online & in-person) and Awards Ceremony while supplies last.

Prizes
The awards ceremony takes place Sunday, June 8 at 3 PM at Marina Riviera 40770 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. The ceremony includes the general raffle with thousands of dollars worth of fishing gear, bait and tackle, and angling equipment. Additionally, anglers also have a chance to win a brand-new fishing kayak as part of a separate raffle courtesy of Big Bear Sporting Goods.
Grand Tournament Champion
The Grand Tournament Champion is returning this year. The angler to present the Largest Fish (by weight) will walk away with $2,500!
Grand Prize Tagged Trout
$10K cash prizes will be awarded for tagged fish with winning numbers.
Non-Grand Prize Tagged Trout
$500 will be awarded for the first 5 non-grand prize tagged fish brought in.
Weight Class Awards
Awards will be given to Adult Male & Female (16+) categories:
- 1st Place – $1500
- 2nd Place – $750
- 3rd Place – $500
Additionally, awards will be given to Child Male & Female (15 and under) categories:
- 1st Place – $500
- 2nd Place – $250
- 3rd Place – $100
