MX Grand Prix Big Bear 2025 – Four Days of Dirt, Speed, and Skill
From Thursday, August 21 to Sunday, August 24, the MX Grand Prix Big Bear 2025 will roar into Bear Mountain Ski Resort. This four-day event brings the Swapmoto Race Series together with Big Bear Mountain Resort to create a high-energy motocross experience for racers and spectators alike.
The course at Bear Mountain is built for excitement — expect jumps, berms, steep climbs, and sharp turns carved into the natural terrain. Riders will take on a three-mile loop packed with technical sections, single-track stretches, and a finish line jump under an overhead truss. From beginners to pros, and kids to seasoned 60+ riders, the racing lineup is full.
Where the Action Happens
The racecourse takes advantage of Bear Mountain’s elevation, creating challenging terrain changes throughout each lap. The track will be carefully maintained all weekend to keep the action at peak performance. Spectators can head to The Deck for a prime view of the race, plus food, drinks, and sponsor booths with demos.
How to Watch and Get Around
Spectator parking is offsite, with shuttles running to and from the venue. You can also use the Free Big Bear Trolley to reach Bear Mountain and explore other parts of town. This makes it easy to combine your race day with visits to local shops, restaurants, and the lake.
