Manager Response: "beautiful views and steps away from the lake" describes this Lakefront Bay View cabin very well. So glad that you found the beds comfortable, nice kitchen, comfortable living room, relaxing jacuzzi and plenty of great amenities throughout. This summer we have had lots of pollen BUT the good news is this means that the FOREST IS ALIVE and WELL! We've been sweeping pollen weekly this summer for our guests. The Lake View Decks at this cabin have now been RESTAINED and are looking their best! We have since checked on the dock to ensure everything is working well for stepping onto and off the dock. Yes, the neighboring home does have some adirondack chairs on their dock and we do rent that home as well :) Both are lovely spots! We apologize for the in person check in. We sure wish that we could bypass this as well, but it is required by the City of Big Bear Lake, to ensure that the Good Neighbor Policy in Big Bear is enforced. In general, this makes it better for everyone, guests and residences. It has a boat dock to accommodate our boat. Has great views of the lake. Waking up and having your breakfast in the deck overlooking the lake is priceless. Not to mention watching the sunset while relaxing in the hot tub.
This place is a 10 in our book.

We would definitely rent this cabin again!
Cons: the outdoor space (outdoor tables, deck) were very dirty with dust and cobwebs everywhere. Windows and window sills were dirty inside and out. This was a shame since you had to look through these windows to see the beautiful views. The Upstairs shower produced only a trickle of water. A lampshade was missing . Fans were non-functional (Kevin brought us a new one. We appreciated that!)
