Great cabin, accommodating hosts, convenient location! A+
Had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The host/manager was super accommodating and responsive—very guest-focused. The location is central—easy access to all the local amenities. Kitchen well equipped—pretty much all you need for all types of food prep. Bring a meat thermometer. Bring briquettes for the BBQ—basic Weber is provided. The kitchen/great room/dining room is perfect for entertaining and socializing; nice deck for morning coffee. You do need to dispose of your own garbage—but the city garbage facility is 3 minutes away—easy in and out. In summary—this cabin was perfect for our needs. Hope to stay again!

Very nice a place away from home.
Excellent, very close to shopping centers,food,park,lake,zoo, and many more exciting things,, also like having the washer and dryer available to use, everything was very nice, big backyard gated, furniture and accessories were very enjoyable, I definitely look forward to my next vacation there with my family.

Cozy Place
I loved the place. It was very cleaned place. My family and I had a great experience. I am an essential worker and needed to rest. This was the perfect place; it made me feel I was home. A very quite place and my family loved it. I do recommend it. Even though I had brought my disinfecting products and blankets, the place was very cleaned. Since we are in a pandemic time, they did an excellent job. I do recommend it.

Good rental
The place was good and tidy but had some issues. There was trash behind beds and under the furniture. Also not enough appropriate bed sheet sizes. The bed covers were smelly. The dishwasher had unwashed cups and the grill had old burnt patties in it so we couldn’t use it. Having said these, they are for the owner to be careful with the company that manages the property. Overall stay was good.

Beautiful home but not super clean
Pros:
-Beautiful home.
-Excellent location, walking distance to the park, McDonalds, Pollo Loco.
-Easy checking in and out process.
-Great communication.
-TVs work fine.
Cons:
-Not cleaned as good before arrival. I don't expect shining everything but you can see areas that never get cleaned and should be.
-No toiletries.
-Not sure if they change the bed comforters after every guest.
-Run out of water after 3 regular showers but house has a 10 people capacity.
-Couch kinda old looking.

Five out of Five!
The rental house was perfect. It is big enough for 10 people, we had a good time. For example, the house was situated in a location near fast food chains and restaurants; in fact, it is walking distance. I would say the house is the midpoint between the lake and the sky chair area, not too far and not too close. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious, I would come back again!

House was clean,but a lot of black spiders. Location was great, close to shopping centers. Great place to relax and enjoy nature. management was great and quick to meet our needs. Our coffee makers was broken, but management replaced it right away, which was great.

Big Bear Retreat

GREAT VACATION IN BIG BEAR
Our accommodations were perfect for our stay in Big Bear with friends. 3 couples, each with our own private bedrooms. Plea t of room to get together to cook meals, play games and sit around and chat, while watching the snow flurries outside. Kitchen and baths were all well equipped and we had 2 fireplaces. The condo is within walking distance to the quaint Village. A great time was had by all. We highly recommend Tall Pines Escape.

the house is lovely and worked well for our family - the entryway has a bench and coat hooks for taking off snowy boots and jackets, the kitchen had all of the utensils that we needed, and the big backyard provided a nice play area for the kids

It's always a wonderful time in the snow!!!
Stayed at Tall Pines Escape for a birthday weekend. My friends and I had an amazing time. Everything was just perfect. We cooked all 3 meals and was glad to have all kinds of dishes that we needed. Wonderful Winter Cabin
Two of us families stayed here for our annual ski trip. As soon as we walked in, we all said how nice, clean and open it was. It was better in person than the pictures, which usually isn't the case. The downstairs room was perfect for the kids to have their play space. The only "issue" was the beds in the double bed room. One was missing a lot of slats under the mattress, causing it to sink down and have no support. We did not contact the company for this issue as we made it work with the other beds. Overall, we were super happy with this cabin and would come back in a heartbeat! Great location and easy access.

Overall very good experience would definitely rent again
First time renting with the rental company. They were very considerate as we had to cancel initial booking as our whole party got a stomach flu (vomiting and diarrhea) after the holidays. We were able to rebook it but not on a weekend so it's just my family who stayed as school already started. Check in time was at 4pm but we arrived at 330pm and cleaning crew just finishing in cleaning up and the manager has to personally check and inspect the place first before the crew leaves which I found really good and professional. We got settled and the cabin was clean, fresh towels etc and had no issues. My 17 month toddler had a lot of room to walk around but we had to block the stairs as he wanted to go up and down..kitchen Utensils and kitchenware were clean even the toaster! The backyard was nice and had a fence which was good for privacy. We got lucky with a little bit of snow and it was fun for pictures and garage had a small sled which we used for the baby. Cabin was close to everything or you can even walk to mc donalds if you did not want to cook.Other houses nearby were only single story so no issues with privacy and their were blinds that you can close. Place has wifi,cable, Dvds which was nice relaxing in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. I brought extra garbage bags which were helpful as we had to throw our trash to the designated area approx 5 mins away or you pay $25 per trash bag you leave. Welcome binder was there and very helpful as the owner has checklist and instructions also.

This rental home was great! We all enjoyed our time and mini vacation. It was close to everything! Too bad there was a pin for the TV. We were not able to figure out the pin.

Amazing rental
We booked this house for a winter getaway with friends. We were hoping to get some snow but it didn’t snow at the time we went. Nevertheless, this house didn’t disappoint and made our stay worthwhile. The bunk room and second living room (with a foosball table) are downstairs, along with a half bath. Upstairs are the kitchen, living room, dining room and 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The house was very clean when we arrived with clean towels (which looked new) and kitchen appliances. They also had a few extra every day things which was nice. For example, two rolls of tp in each bathroom, hand soap, dish soap and a sponge, laundry detergent, and so on. The one annoying thing about the place was the heating. The rooms upstairs would get very hot while the living room and downstairs area did not. However, the fireplaces in both living rooms made it possible to heat those areas so it was okay. It was only really a problem at night when we couldn’t have the fires on and we didn’t want the rooms to be too hot. This isn’t something that should dissuade you from renting. Overall it was a great house to stay and we plan to book it again.. hopefully next time there will be snow! (If the owner is reading this, thank you for making our stay comfortable!)

AMAZING STAY
Beautiful home with plenty of space & great location/distance to the lake and village. Kitchen made great for cooking and there's a grill in the back. Definitely would rent again.

Relaxing picturesque home in big bear
We stayed at a beautifully decorated well maintained and clean cabin. It had everything we needed. From a gorgeous kitchen with every cooking item you would ever need to not one but two barbecues. A game room for the kids along with many different board games and cards. It takes all the hard work out of going to a cabin. We loved it thanks.

Beautiful clean cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin as it is beautiful, clean, has everything you may need and is walking distance to Snow Summit. We loved that it has an enclosed backyard where our kids could play. This is the third year in a row that we visit Big Bear and rent cabins and this has been the best one .

Clean and Awesome Cabin
Our family was able to spend quality time together in the main living space. It was very comfortable, super clean (which I love since I'm a neat freak), and very spacious. Overall we had an amazing time without feeling cramped. The rental company was on top of everything and had easy to follow instruction.

We had a wonderful time. The property was lovely and well kept. They had all the basic kitchen needs for cooking Close to the slopes, it was convenient to drive back n forth. We will def. be coming back and recommend to our friends.

Excellent Location and View
Cabin is located in a great location near Restaurants, Stores, etc. The view of the lake from the dinner table is phenomenal. The backyard is big and we had a lot of fun playing with the snow there. Had plenty of towels, blankets, all you need for the kitchen. Only thing I will add some blinds on the front windows in the stair for privacy.
